NDA FOUNDATION COURSE

The NDA Foundation Course is an intensive and well-structured program offered by Sainik School Defence Academy. It is designed for students from Class 9th to 12th who aspire to join the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) and serve the nation as commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces — Army, Navy, or Air Force.

This course bridges the gap between academic excellence and defence preparation by combining formal school education with rigorous NDA entrance coaching, physical fitness training, and overall personality development. Our goal is to nurture the minds and bodies of young cadets and equip them with the tools required to clear the NDA written exam, SSB Interview, and meet the medical and physical fitness standards.

Academic Excellence: The course ensures complete coverage of school curriculum as per CBSE guidelines, along with in-depth training for Mathematics, English, General Science, and Current Affairs — the core subjects of the NDA entrance exam. Special attention is given to CUET and Merchant Navy preparation for students exploring alternative career paths.

Defence-Oriented Training: The NDA Foundation Course includes daily physical training sessions, drill and parade practice, obstacle course training, and mock SSB interviews. These sessions are supervised by experienced trainers, retired defence personnel, and SSB experts to simulate real defence scenarios and build confidence.

Communication & Personality Development: Regular Spoken English sessions, group discussions, debates, and leadership activities are conducted to strengthen cadets’ communication skills and groom their overall personality for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Extra-Curricular Activities: Cadets participate in sports, games, educational trips, picnics, and movie outings to maintain a balanced routine that supports learning and refreshes the mind. These activities also build team spirit and camaraderie among the cadets.
